Standards and normals;
Things taken for granted.
Expectations and such.
The darkness, that’s planted.
Some of it; comes from a deep dark space;
A space where no lamp burns
A space that refuses to tell you;
What it is.
Why it is.
It just is.
The origin of all the poison.
And it’ll stay no matter what you do.
Because, there’s nowhere else for it to go.
It might sometimes be hidden in the bright lights
All bright places end in one dark space
And that is this;
This is that.
I look around and I see so many people… so many opinions… fame…faces with glass like shine and bodies that make me feel small. Sometimes very small.
I don’t want to feel this way. But, you cannot force positivity. That, my friend, is toxic.
There are days when I feel like I’ve accomplished nothing, that the world moved on to bigger things and I somehow missed the memo. I am nothing.
Not just the random strangers but also my friends, my family and my colleagues and everyone I know are doing something more meaningful and here I am crying. Trying…
I’m cut from a different fabric
Different than the one you desire
It’s not just my colour or my texture
It’s the fact that I don’t burn in fire
I know there’s something confusing about me
But I never wished to be the one to be understood
Just the one who would be desired
I packed my bags and left for what I thought was an adventure. I wasn’t prepared and I had no guidance. I didn’t even have a concept of guidance.
Maybe, because I was the first one to make this move. Maybe because this was supposed to be a lesson and not just another adventure.
I thought my bag had everything I needed. But did I? For someone who was moving to a different city I definitely was under-prepared. And soon I was going to find out things that comfort of home would have never taught me. To top it all…
Stories are a quick and easy way to share your moments or experiences and you can use stickers, GIFs, music, or text to bring them to life.
If you’re new on Instagram or if you’re trying to build your brand or your business, you need to master the art of Instagram Stories.
For all of you, who’ve not paid enough attention, here are some facts that may get you interested.
We all are Russian dolls.
Each incident, each experience, each realisation forms a layer of a new self and it keeps on happening. So how do we know that where’s our happiest and the most peaceful layer that brings us joy and makes us and everyone around us smile?
Today, you may not be feeling so well. Or maybe you’ve been sad and lonely for a long time. That’s NOT who you’re, that’s what has happened to you and it doesn’t, simply doesn’t define you.
You need to retrospect, understand each layer one more time or as many times as…
Let’s try something new!
Well, when is the right time to say that something is not working?
When it comes to Social Media, you need to give at least 3 months to your new strategy. Keep analyzing and collecting data and see what part of your strategy isn’t working.
Sometimes small tweaks can change the results drastically. Small tweaks include finalizing on which Social network to concentrate more on, what type of content to drop and what to create more, which tool to use to increase productive and how to maximize the output.
Don’t say — This is not working…
Goals are confusing. When goals are common, they are even more confusing. And a lot of times they don’t take you where you want to go.
Instead of researching about what metrics to chase, write down what do YOU really want to achieve.
Chasing the wrong metrics won’t lead you anywhere. Know what matters to you. Set your own metrics. Know why are you choosing those metrics. Make a plan, work on it and march towards it.
On Twitter — Don’t aim for the number of impressions and reach.
On Instagram — Don’t aim for x likes and y comments.

When everything is going great, we tend to kind of forget that disruption is on it’s way and it’s going to hit you.
Being blind to the idea of disruption amplifies the effect and the after-effect.
It catches you off-guard.
You could have seen that coming! Or nope?
I’ve already told you to be prepared.
Some good-byes are necessary and so are some hellos.
This year I made it a point to start reporting posts that sounded abusive to me and that I thought Twitter/ Instagram needs to know about my perspective about them.
I also got some reports back, reports saying these accounts were actually violating the policies of the platform and actions have been taken. Cool!
Similarly, I kept on unfollowing and muting the accounts that did not add any value to my timeline anymore. If they are talking about negative stuff, I don’t want to listen. …
